Mary retired in 2003 from hospital
management at a major trauma center hospital in the Texas Medical
Center. Her graduate and undergraduate degrees are in nutrition.
She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification at the Yoga
Therapy College in 2003. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher
with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. Mary teaches 3 yoga classes
a week.
Denise Hendricks Jackson lives in the Dallas suburb
of Rockwall. Her husband Heath is a police officer in Mesquite, TX. She is
currently staying at home with Aiden and Ashley. The Jackson Family has two dogs: Oscar and Marsha. Denise
visits Kripalu regularly.
Duane and Mary's son David lives in Houston and works for the FBI as
a part of its Computer Analysis and Response Team.
This group provides assistance in the search and seizure of computer
evidence, conducts forensic examinations and provides technical support
for FBI investigations. He is a avid athlete and enjoys
marathons, triathlons and adventure races.
While David was on a three
month temporary assignment at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC., his
cats, Stain (above) and Sylvester (below) stayed with us. We enjoyed them so much,
we now share joint custody with David.
