Sudhakar Ken McCrae is a former Kripalu resident who has a yoga studio in Columbia, Missouri. He leads yoga vacations and retreats around the world. Duane and Mary have traveled with him to Pura Vida in Costa Rica, Tuscany, Italy, Corfu, Greece and Murren, Switzerland.

Yoganand Michael Carroll is a recognized Master-Level teacher in the Kripalu Yoga tradition. Yoganand has the ability to distil and interpret esoteric yoga texts and techniques. Yoganand taught at Kripalu Center for more than 15 years before founding Radiant Well-being Yoga Center in North Augusta, South Carolina, where he leads his own 200 hour Basic and 500 Hour professional Level Yoga Teacher Training and a variety of other programs.

This new book is the only complete resource on Kripalu Yoga. The book also features in-depth consideration of the off-the-mat approaches to emotional, psychological, and spiritual health that make Kripalu Yoga so unique.

While Stephanie is not a Kripalu teacher, I have included this book because it the only book I am aware of that is devoted to posture assisting and many of the manipulative assists pictured in the book are similar to those used by Devarshi in his teaching.

Don Stapleton (Brahmanand), PhD
Don has taught worldwide since 1976 and was teacher and director of Kripalu Center for 19 years. He is Kripalu’s Dean of Yoga Education and the Director of the Kripalu Symposium on Yoga Therapeutics.

The Wisdom of Yoga (2006)
