Dave Gantt - Head Volleyball Coach
Dave Gantt, the most successful coach in the history of Montana State University, was named the head coach at Gonzaga University in late January 2009. With the exception of time spent with the Men’s National Team in San Diego, Gantt has spent his entire coaching career in the northwest. He has experience in over 700 matches, coaching both men and women at all levels of competition and at all levels of development. His involvement with summer camp began in 1984, and has taken him throughout the northwest, into Canada and has extended worldwide, from Tokyo, Japan, to Havana, Cuba. He is a Charter Member of the USA Coaching Accreditation program and a CAP Level III certified national coach. Please join us as we meld Coach Gantt’s experience with the longstanding quality you’ve come to expect from Gonzaga University summer volleyball camps.




Momi Bowles - Camp Director
Returning for 2009 is camp director Momi Bowles! The former GU stand-out is the head volleyball coach and teacher at  Auburn Mountainview High School in Auburn, Washington. This new school opened its doors in September, 2005 and the volleyball team has earned a trip to the State Volleyball Championships in Kennewick the last three years in a row. During her career at GU, the 20th ranked Bulldogs took their first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament. In addition to being team captain her senior year, she also earned West Coast Conference Honors. Upon graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health, Bowles served on the Gonzaga Coaching staff for two years as a second assistant. In addition to coaching and teaching she has also earned her Masters Degree in Educational Technology.


Kelley Spink - Camp Director
Returning for 2009 is camp director Kelley Spink! As a Gonzaga University stand-out, Kelley earned WCC MVP honors her senior year.  She continued her volleyball career in San Diego, touring briefly with the U.S. National team prior to having success professionally, both indoors and on the beach.  Upon returning to Spokane, Kelley served as the GU assistant coach for 3 years and will be returning to Zag Volleyball camp for her 15th consecutive year.  Since graduating from GU with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, her experience in collegiate sports and coaching has lead her to earn a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership (MOL) with special interest in Motivation.  Kelley most recently was the program coordinator for the comprehensive leadership program at Gonzaga.

 Abby Cullen


Abby Bennet -Assistant Volleyball Coach
Abby Cullen returned to her alma mater and enters her third season as an assistant coach with Gonzaga University in 2008. She previously was an assistant coach for one season at Central Washington University.

Cullen, a four-year starter for the Bulldogs from 2000-03, ranks in the top 10 in the Zags career record book for block assists (3rd, 341), block solos (3rd, 87), total blocks (3rd, 428), total kills (4th, 1,140), attack attempts (7th, 2,917) and games played (8th, 400). She also holds the single-match record for total blocks in a game with 15 and assisted blocks with 13; both recorded against Portland in 2002.
