Our new front door from the outside. It was manufactured by Grand River Doors of Bernalillo. I finished it myself with a wipe-on stain and polyurethane.

The new door from the inside. The odd shaped item on the door is our Irish door harp, which plays a pleasant chord when the door is opened or closed. We've had it for over 20 years. The lights up to the left of the door were purloined from our Houghton house, ca 1880.

Our new master bath molded marble sinks and countertops in a purple shade. We had molded marble before, but it was a worn-out looking beige. The cabinets are originals except that we painted over the dark wood stain. I installed the faucets shortly after we moved in, in 2000. Note also the nice towel holders, new with this remodel.
