...website updates. 02/13/2007 - The Halo server's map rotation has been updated and reorganized with multiple new additions. Check the info topic for the details. And as was mentioned before, feel free to post any suggestions you may have for the map list and game types. 02/05/2007 - Although I definitely play games a decent amount, I've never really cared that much about playing games online much for some reason. However, I've recently been playing Halo for PC online quite a bit, and I have to say, I'm somewhat addicted, despite the fact that I'm not that good at it. So much so that I've decided go ahead and run my own dedicated server for it. Just something kind of fun to do, and interesting to see how it's all done, since this is the first game server I've run. After doing some tests with stuff the last few days, everything seems to be working well, so I figured I'd go ahead and make it all official and stuff. So yeah. There's now a freaked.org dedicated Halo server. Click here or check the link above for the topic in the forums that explains all the details (rules, map rotation, etc.). It'll probably be kept public most of the time, but I may also make it private on occasion for games open only to forum members. Any new details and information will be posted in that topic on the forums, and possibly here as well depending on the info. So if any of you are fans of Halo for PC/Mac, feel free to drop in, shoot stuff, and have a good time. Fun fun. Oh, and congrats to the Colts on the Super Bowl win! 02/04/2007 - Updated the desktop screenshots. Whoopee. And apparently the Super Bowl is today. Almost forgot, heh. Go Colts! 01/18/2007 - Added download link for Seamonkey 1.1 to the Win95-XP>32-bit internet tools section. And that's pretty much it. I'm toying with the idea of going in to a complaining rant about the direction Stargate Atlantis seems to be heading, but it'd be spoiler-loaded and I don't have the time at the moment. And I doubt anyone cares. Heh. 01/01/2007 - Happy new year or something or other. yay? |
