Recent changes to competition rules allowing larger and more powerful aircraft has brought inevitable side effects.  Transporting the 2 meter airplanes and the cost of equipment puts competition pattern out of reach of many aspiring aerobatic pilots.  The VIPER 91 has the proportions of the 2 meter Viper, the same excellent flight characteristics and it can be powered with the more affordable YS or OS .91 4 stroke motors.  Construction is the same except that the 91 has no tunnel for the pipe.  In every other aspect the kit offers all the features of the larger aircraft.  The firewall is drilled for a Performance Product motor mount and the 6-32 Blind Nuts are factory installed.  The root ribs, with all the alignment holes predrilled at the factory are glued to the wing panels and are ready for plugging to the fuselage which has also been drilled at the factory.  The hole for the stabiliser has also been cut out thus reducing the time consuming alignment procedure to a minimum.  The balsa sheeted foam core wings are ready for retracts and the ailerons are ready for hinging.
