Plot

After killing Patrick Bateman, Rachel has decided that she wants to hunt serial killers for the FBI.  So she takes a class at West Washington University.  She is determined to be the next teaching assistant because the last nine out of ten assistants have been accepted to the FBI.  Rachel will do anything to get the position and I mean anything.

Review

It was bound to happen, a cash in, direct to video sequel to American Psycho.  Gone is Christian Bale, but is that so bad?  Survey says: Kind of.  We are left with Mila Kunis, better known as Jackie from the TV series That 70's Show.  But damn she is so fine.  But that still doesn't make this a good movie.  Nope, what we get is a half assed effort that is barely even qualified to carry the American Psycho name.

The movie is hardly even related to the original.  We do get a fake ass want to be Patrick Bateman semi-look alike in the beginning.  His name is dropped a couple of times and that is about it.  So throughout the entire film I am left thinking, why does this have American Psych in it's title?

Mila Kunis is still fun to watch though.  God, do I ever love her voice, I could listen to it all the time.  But still she does give a fairly memorable performance.  I especially love how she can go from innocent to crazy and back to innocent, within a minute.  She is great.

On another note, we still get a silly soundtrack that perfectly fits the movies mood.  The best song is by far the one that plays during the first kill, it's great.  It has to be heard to be believed, and while it is playing you will wonder, what the hell?

Overall, it isn't that I am ripping on American Psycho 2, it is just that I don't think it is a worthy enough film to carry the the American Psycho label.  But that is just me.

Gore

Not very gory at all, we get a mop through the head, a stabbing, a hanging. That is about it.
