Review |
I am a huge fan of zombie movies, especially Return of the living
dead. So I was pretty excited to pop this movie in the VCR and have
some alone time with my very best friend... Mr. Violence. I was
expecting more from this movie, being such a big fan of the previous
installment. Not to say that it is a bad movie, it is just
flawed.
For one, the zombies talk to much for my likings, and some of them
talk with out even moaning, so it is like a normal person. I
don't really care for that much talking, they should have stuck to the
classic BRAIN comment, and not have expanded too much on the talking
aspect. Overall the zombies looked great, realistic (if there is
such a thing as a zombie that is realistic). Although when they
walk they all walk the same. It looks as if they were told a
cretin way that a zombie should walk, I would have appreciated a
little more improvisation of zombie movement to make it seem more
authentic instead of looking choreographed.
The acting was a big plus, the brother and sister were like a cat and
a mouse, always fighting. Even when the brother is missing in a
town full of zombies, the cable guy says they should look for him and
the sister says that she don't no if she wants to find her brother.
Spoken like a true brother sister relationship.
So over all this is a pretty decent sequel. Which is saying a
lot considering how good the original was. |
