Review

"Do you like scary movies?" (Ghostface)

This movie is so good that you will want to watch it over and over again.  It was made to pay tribute to all of the 70's and 80's slasher movies, and it does exactly that.  It was written by an unheard of horror movie fan, which is why that it is a tribute.

The acting is great, Neve Campbell does a wonderful job as the jittery looking over her shoulder Sidney Prescott.  Alongside Neve, we get Courtney Cox as the obnoxious tabloid news reporter, Gale Weathers.  She does an amazing job with the bitch in your face roll.  Also we get David Arquett as the Dewy, he does an awesome job playing Dewy, who is like the town joke.

Craven's is on top of his game as director.  We get all of the classic Craven camera tricks, and some new ones.  As always he knows exactly how to turn any atmosphere into a tense creepy one.  He also does a great job making all of the characters multi layered.  Even the ones who are just there to die.

So overall Scream is the perfect slasher film sure to please all horror fans.  I would recommend it to all.

Gore

We get a nice variety of gore and death scenes.  We get two nasty gutting, lots of bloody stabbings, a bloody cut arm, and a really bloody slit throat.
