Review

I rented this knowing that it was just another low budget, straight to video slasher movie.  But it is actually not that bad.  It has some good moments.  To me though, the best part of the movie is that Steven Railsback is in it, and he is my favorite actor of all time.  Ever since I seen him in Ed Gein and the original Helter Skelter, I have loved his work.  He gives an amazing performance as Jeremiah, a creepy old farmer.  He is a mind blowing emotional actor, and just has a phenomenal onscreen presence about him.

Other than Steve, the rest of the actors are pretty decent.  Not amazing, but they are also not terrible.  I didn't really care to much for the crappy ass rock band subplot.  It would have been a much greater movie with out it.

So overall, Slash is a pretty good low budget slasher film, that will likely please horror fans.  Give it a shot.

Gore

Not much.  We get dead bodies and a ground up body, BLAH!

The Goodies

  • Don't sing Old McDonald had a farm in front of Old McDonald.
  • Tarot cards can tell you if your going to get lucky.
  • You can get high on cow crap.
  • People named Billy Bob are good at everything.

Nudity

None, we get nothing, except the side of a chicks breast. Why the heck was this movie given an R rating?
