Plot |
| Melvin was a geeky mop boy that everybody picked on. But one day a
practical joke went to far and Melvin ended up in a barrel of toxic waste.
The toxic waste caused Melvin to be transformed into a hideously deformed
creature of super human size and strength. He became The Toxic Avenger
(the first superhero from New Jersey). Toxie is now getting revenge on
those who caused his mutation and also is using his super powers to clean
up the streets of Tromaville. |

Review |
This is the one that
officially put Troma on the map, and started it all. The Toxic Avenger is
one of the most gruesomely violent films I have ever seen. So naturally, I
loved it. It is creative, violent, gory, and funny as hell, it is an
instant cult classic
The Toxic Avenger is not for all audiences though. The violence is
graphic, the acting is terrible, and the humor is as dark as it comes. So
if you are offended by the beating of old ladies, running over young kids
heads with a car, or goats wearing bikinis, this movie is not for you. But
if you like it, or feel like something new for a change, you have to see
this movie! |
