In this one hour class, learn a complete fiddle tune, as taught by Deb Collins-Hill, in a comfortable, laid-back atmospere, near downtown Olympia.

Tunes from many Folk traditions are taught, including Irish, Québécois, Welsh, Breton and Old Time tunes.
In this class, Deb covers the appropriate bowing techniques, accents, slides, etc., as required to play the days' tune. Backup is also provided by Deb's husband Greg, on guitar and/or irish bouzouki. The tunes are taught by ear, but notation is also provided to take home and use as needed.

Once a month, guest teachers are brought into the class to teach a tune from the genre or fiddle tradition they specialize in.

After the lesson with the guest teacher, there is a jam session, where everyone gets a chance to try out what they've learned and play more tunes....
