What is a critical incident ?  unanticipated events which can overwhelm a person emotionally or physically, and significantly change a person's perspective; if left unattended they can deeply harm the psyche and one's ability to cope with day to day activity. Examples of critical Incidents: shootings, suicides, child fatality, hostage situations, sudden death of a fellow officer. These are trained professionals who are there for you or your co-workers. Peer supporters are all police officers, Fraternal Order of Police approved. Total confidentiality.
