Toys for Kids Telethon 2004
The Toys for Kids telethon is a decades-long tradition joining the local Cable TV company and community groups in New Bedford, Massachusetts to help needy families in our area have a more joyous holiday season.

This year Comcast and New Bedford High School are working together to cablecast the 2004 Toys for Kids Telethon live on Channel 09 on Friday December 3rd from 6pm to 9pm. The event will take place at the Philip Bronspiegel Memorial Auditorium in New Bedford High School.

There will be continuous entertainment in the auditorium performed by various New Bedford High School student groups and clubs. Telethon host Phil Paleologos will be stationed in the front lobby to greet guests who will be stopping by to give donations of cash and toys. Guests are expected to include leaders of the business community and local government as well as clubs and organizations from the area. Individuals are also welcome to stop by the telethon to make donations and enjoy the entertainment. Popcorn and refreshments will be served and Santa Claus will be available for taking photographs with the children.

Proceeds from the telethon will be given directly to the Salvation Army in New Bedford, who will then provide needy families in our area with toys and dinner vouchers.
